About Toto
The group Toto was formed in the year 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro and David Paich (who were also highly acclaimed studio musicians working with Boz Scaggs at the time) and singer/bassist Bobby Kimball. Taking their name from the Latin word which means "all all-encompassing," the group was determined to explore every musical style.
In 1981 the third album by Toto Turn Back was a complete failure however, they bounce back with their fourth release Isolation which contains two hits including the title track and Roseanna. The album and tour makes them a household name around the world.

In the course of recording the band's fifth album, the band loses their manager and is faced with financial difficulties.
